I have always appreciated good food and developed a love for cooking as I got older and became a mother. The cooking passion really hit me while I was in college and working part time at a hospice home as a kitchen manager. So many times peoples stories were tied to food, I had the opportunity to share in those memories and would do my darnedest to recreate. Food in many instances opened the door for conversation, those conversations I will forever cherish! Meal times are important to me and I want to make sure that dinners are more than a necessary time during the day but a time that is looked forward too. I thoroughly enjoy setting a table and creating a experience through decorative touches. As a working mother of four boys and college student, I definitely have had a need to seek a creative outlet. Cooking is not just a task for me… it’s a passion that gets me up in the morning.
