Basil Butter recipe
Basil butter is a great condiment to just about anything!!! I like to use it as a topical to fish, seafood, chicken, veggies, crusty bread and pasta. Basil butter will take a ordinary dish and make it special with little to no effort!
-1 cup of softened salted butterĀ (2 sticks)
-1/2 cup of chopped fresh basil
-1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
-2 cloves of crushed garlic
-1 tsp of white pepper
In a bowl, combine the butter, basil, garlic, white pepper, and mash with a spoon until well combined
Place mashed butter on a sheet of plastic wrap and roll into a log, refrigerate to firm up and for flavors to meld for at least 1 hour. When ready to use slice basil butter and add to your dish. Butter will last in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
